The First Followers of Jesus - dramatic reading
This is a dialogue version of the Bible passage about the calling of the first disciples. It begins with John the Baptist, and then continues with Peter, Andrew, Simon and Nathanael. A kind of simple dramatisation of the Bible reading, with no need to learn the words. You could cut it down to just focus on one or two characters.

Narrator:
John was still busy preaching and baptising, and when he saw Jesus, returning from the wilderness, he pointed him out to the crowds.
John:

Narrator:
John had his own band of loyal followers, and when he spotted Jesus the next day and pointed him out once more they decided to act.
John:
Look! There he is again - the Lamb of God. Take note. I promise you I will soon disappear but this man will rise up and affect everyone...
