Words of the Wise - poem
This poem is based on the idea that the Wise Men were unlikely people who searched Jesus out to worship him. It goes on to consider other unlikely people who seek Jesus out.
Extract of the poem:
In the words of the wise men from the East:
'Where is the king of the Jews? We've come to worship him.'
And those from the North and the South and the West:
'Where is the king of the Jews? We've come to worship him.'
In the words of the wise women down the ages:
'Where is the king of the Jews? We've come to worship him.'
And the children with their simple trust:
'Where is the king of the Jews? We've come to worship him.'...
