Spring Harvest Resources Used - 2024
Ideas we used in the All Age Celebrations
Handout for All Age Worship Workshop.
We've had a great time at Spring Harvest 2024, leading the Minehead All Age Celebrations each night. Here are a list of resources we used and places you can find them.
You can listen to our Whole Church Worship EP of songs on Spotify. And here's a Spotify Playlist of all the songs we used through the week (including at Thursday's Big Family Bible Story matinee).
Below: our wonderful team of Bob, James, Sam, Timo, Ella, Dom, Sara and Gemma.
Monday Night
We opened each night with the prayer Jesus Say Come In, and the song Come In, both of which feature in our new Whole Church Worship: Church Service Pack.
We also sang the chorus to King of Kings.
Later we sang Timo's song All The Glory, and Thanksgiving by Gas Street.
Each night we had the Bible reading dramatised as "The Apostle Paul's Channel" - YouTube style videos featuring our friend Charles Merritt as Paul (thanks Charles!). Here's Night One:
As part of the response we sang My Hope Is In The Lord. To close we sang King of Me by Rend Co. Kids.
Tuesday Night
We opened each night with the prayer Jesus Say Come In, and the song Come In, both of which feature in our new Whole Church Worship: Church Service Pack.
This was followed by The Body Song.
Bob Hartman read his book The Prisoners, The Earthquake and the Midnight Song. Then we saw the second video from Paul's Channel:
We sang God So Loved (Come All You Weary): here's our version of this -
We also led Ask, Seek, Knock, and responded to the message with the chorus and bridge of Who You Say I Am. We closed with All The Glory.
Wednesday Night
We opened each night with the prayer Jesus Say Come In, and the song Come In, both of which feature in our new Whole Church Worship: Church Service Pack.
We played a game of "Don't Clap That One Back" (see our article on percussion in worship), which led into Thanksgiving.
We sang King of Me which led into a version of the Lord's Prayer (It's Yours). Then Paul received some more mail from the Ephesians:
As our response we led some whisper prayers (adapted from the "catch" aspect of this teaching from Parenting for Faith), then we sang Doug Horley's Never Gonna Give Up. We closed with Ask, Seek, Knock.
Thursday Night
We opened each night with the prayer Jesus Say Come In, and the song Come In, both of which feature in our new Whole Church Worship: Church Service Pack.
We sang Nick and Becky Drake's City on a Hill, and then Paul investigated some strange goings on outside his house.
We responded to the talk with We Go With Jesus.
We finished up with King of Me and All The Glory.
