Psalm 51 Confession
This is a mix of parts of Psalm 51 from both the TNIV and the Message. It is designed to be said out loud together as a corporate confession, but it could also be used as a silent reflection. You may wish to give people time before hand to silently allow God to search their heart for any particular thing they need to confess. It ought also to move into something which proclaims forgiveness - an absolution prayer or an appropriate song.

I am in charge of planning Good Friday Community Worship and I plan to use this presentation since the theme is centered on this psalm
Thank you so much for this - we are doing a service in the psalms and this is perfect - will set it to backing of 'The Sixteen' singing Misere Mei - for silent reflection.
